Project Description: Marine Diving Solutions provided fabrication, installation, and removal services for a 100KG water tower from the 1940's.

Services included:
  • Fabrication and installation of a ladder for the exterior of the water tank with a wire safety fall arrest systems
  • Fabrication and installation of a ladder for the interior of the water tank with a wire safety fall arrest systems
  • Installation of two 30' and one 24' manways
  • Repair of cracks and spalling in the structural foundation of the tank
  • Welding of base anchor bolts and nuts
  • Replacement of roof access hatch and vent
  • Raising of 6' inlet and 8' outlet pipes 150' to the interior of the water tank
  • Sealing top of riser to tank to make wet riser into a dry riser
  • Installation of a 5' overflow 150' with splash pad and security flapper valve
  • Raising of handrail to meet current OSHA compliance
  • Welding of the circumference of the post head to shell connections
  • Installing a handrail at the top of the tank for safety of personnel
  • Replacing of access hatch for entry into the tank from the top of the tank
  • 75% of all work was completed using man lifts and suspended activities

  • Removal of failing foam
  • Installation of Foamglass foam insulation
  • Raising roof panels back into place that had failed due to severe snow fall
  • Installation of custom supports for reinforcing roof panels
  • Installation of a 3' wide X 15' long platform / catwalk on top of the tank
  • Removal and replacement of existing vent with a new 24' frost proof vent with extended neck for severe winter months
  • Installation of aluminum jacketing to protect Foamglass foam insulation
  • Cleaning and inspection to the interior of the water tank

Project Description: Marine Diving Solutions provided diving and drilling operations to successfully installed a debris containment log boom giving the intake structure and gates protection from vegetation, logs and loose debris.

Services include:
  • Core drilling 10, six foot holes into the face of the dam to secure 2 sides of the debris containment log boom.
  • Diving to depths up to 120 feet to strategically place 17, 12,000 lbs. anchor blocks in two separate grid locations.
  • MDS assembled the log boom and ran over 700 feet of 1 ½ wire cable to tie it all together.

Project description: Marine Diving Solutions De-Watered over 5,000,000 gallons of water to clean, make repairs, and get a detailed in-depth inspection for the army corps of engineers.

Services included:
  • Marine Diving used multiple pumps in order to de-water the stilling basin.
  • Power washed and scrubbed the walls clean of all built up marine growth and heavy staining.
  • MDS used crane operation to install 2 ladders and to clear large debris such as rocks and logs from the stilling basin.

Project description: Marine Diving Solutions assisted in the expansion and drilling operations of a 10 inch expansion pipe from 50 feet underwater to the shore.

S
ervices included:
  • Diving and utilizing a marine silt curtain to contain silt, debris and disturbed sediment.
  • Drilling over 800 feet and locating the end of the drill head.
  • Then attaching the pipe to the drill head to pull the 10 inch pipe back through.
  • Finally cutting the pipe and safely floating the extra back to shore.
